Distal femur locking plate

Indications 

• Distal femur fractures affecting joint surfaces
• Periprosthetic fractures of the distal femur
• Femoral shaft fractures

Characteristics 

• Reduction of the operation time thanks to anatomically pre-formed plate design
• High primary stability thanks to Ø 4.5 mm locking cortical screws and Ø 5.5 mm cancellous screws
• Suited for use with cerclage belt in periprosthetic fractures – this is, however, rarely necessary since the insertion of the screws around the prosthesis stem is nearly always possible thanks to the polyaxial locking system.
• Guide wire holes for temporary plate fixation
