Indications

  • Bennett, Winterstein and Rolando fractures (fractures of the first metacarpal bones with and without joint involvement or Y-shaped outbreaks)
  • Fractures of the metacarpal bones and phalanges
  • Broken off edges of phalanges
  • Avulsion Fractures of the lateral ligaments
  • Interposition arthrodeses of the first metatarsophalangeal joint for fixation and compression bone graft from the iliac crest

Characteristics

  • Screw diameter of 2.3 mm, head diameter of 4.5 mm, cannulation of Ø 0.9 mm
  • Precise insertion using Ø 0.8 mm guide wire
  • Easy screwing thanks to self-drilling, self-tapping thread
  • Greater head diameter for the improvement of the interfragment split compression, also in cancellous bone (washers are not necessary)
  • Soft tissue-preserving and fl at head design
